Maffucci Moving Company did a great job with our move from NY to Florida. On the day of the load in of all of our belongings they were prompt and came ably prepared with 5 men, all of whom worked well together. They were organized, professional, and took good care in handling our possessions. The driver of the truck that brought our things to Florida called 3 days in advance of the delivery, more than enough time for us to prepare. Upon arrival, the 4 men worked well together, again were very organized, and made the load off go very well. I could not be happier with their service. I hired Maffucci Moving and Storage after interviewing 3 other companies. I was moving from my house where I had lived for 34 years to the Belmont Eastview Apartments. I found Mr. Paul Schwartz who came to the house to do the estimate (with his computer) and printed out the estimate on the spot. He was very professional. The movers arrived on time and did an wonderful job. They placed all the furniture exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged. They did all that in less time then had been projected. Really great crew! Pat, Junior, John, Orlando, Joe and one other who I didn’t get his name but they were very professional and they hauled butt. Very hard workers. Pat was the team leader and he had a total “can-do” attitude which really put me at ease through the process. We’re a big family of 6 (plus two dogs) moving 5 bedrooms so it was a little stressful. They came in and Wrapped everything which protected all our furniture. Not a scratch or nick in anything. There were a bunch of things we missed or didn’t pack. No problem, they took care of everything. Before I had a chance to unload my full sized deep freezer they had the damn thing wrapped up and in their truck still full of frozen food. From the initial contact with Michael Bondi to our communications with Tamika Lewis and Diane Gaines I was treated with professionalism and courtesy. Used Maffucci twice! Once for a local move and a second time for a move from the East Coast to West Coast. First point of contact Diane was upfront, honest and thorough explained the process , provided clear understanding of the estimate and what to expect. Because of her I knew I wanted to use them for major move across Country. Diane knew this move would be major and worked closely with me and involved management to provide a clear understanding of what would happen to my shipment from start to finish. I needed reassurance because I had a horrible experience with another company years ago. Maffucci pulled together a team and got their best driver for the job specifically for my shipment . Driving across country East to West in the middle of winter can be treacherous so I had many concerns . The driver John Woughter and partner Paolo were amazing and John reached out to me throughout his trip across country. He gave me an eta and it was precise. He arrived with my belongings along with a beautiful handmade house warming gift. What could have been my worst nightmare (2 lot shipment with multiple end destinations ) went smoothly because of John Woughter and a very well organized and coordinated effort at the time of delivery. Job executed without incident because of my driver John and his LEADERSHIP making sure my belongings were cared for from start to finish! Our recent move was very complicated. From a house in NY to a small apartment while waiting for our new home to be built. The balance of our things went to storage. Then we asked for the apartment stuff to be picked up and combined with the stuff in storage and all moved to Florida (8 months later).

Maffucci Moving Company did a great job with our move from NY to Florida. On the day of the load in of all of our belongings they were prompt and came ably prepared with 5 men, all of whom worked well together. They were organized, professional, and took good care in handling our possessions. The driver of the truck that brought our things to Florida called 3 days in advance of the delivery, more than enough time for us to prepare. Upon arrival, the 4 men worked well together, again were very organized, and made the load off go very well. I could not be happier with their service. I hired Maffucci Moving and Storage after interviewing 3 other companies. I was moving from my house where I had lived for 34 years to the Belmont Eastview Apartments. I found Mr. Paul Schwartz who came to the house to do the estimate (with his computer) and printed out the estimate on the spot. He was very professional. The movers arrived on time and did an wonderful job. They placed all the furniture exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged. They did all that in less time then had been projected. My family used this company back in October. They initially did a great job, but once we started to unpack, precious items were missing. When we realized this, we called and the owner told us to call the police and leave a report with them instead of saying he would talk to his guys and look into the situation on his part. I never write reviews, but it's important for me to inform and warn others about Maffucci Movers. I used them to move my belongings as well as rented their storage units for a few months and when I was ready to have my items delivered to my new home, 1/4 of my glasses, mirrors and plates were all broken.
When I called them about it, the owners were extremely rude and didn't take any accountability. The boxes must have been stored improperly by placing the bigger and heavier boxes on top of my fragile items. The movers also damages my wall by the front door and we noticed that most of my boxes were already smashed in and damages.

Really great crew! Pat, Junior, John, Orlando, Joe and one other who I didn’t get his name but they were very professional and they hauled butt. Very hard workers. Pat was the team leader and he had a total “can-do” attitude which really put me at ease through the process. We’re a big family of 6 (plus two dogs) moving 5 bedrooms so it was a little stressful. They came in and Wrapped everything which protected all our furniture. Not a scratch or nick in anything. There were a bunch of things we missed or didn’t pack. No problem, they took care of everything. Before I had a chance to unload my full sized deep freezer they had the damn thing wrapped up and in their truck still full of frozen food. Never seen anything like it. I could’ve brought an elephant in and they’d have it wrapped up and snug in their truck. Great moving company.

First Marlon was wonderful in explaining everything to me and even though i was on a time crunch, he said we could get this move done within my timeframe. Then I spoke with Diane and I liked her straight off the bat. She kept me in the loop and worked hard on getting my stuff cross country. From moving from our home of 49 years (and all the accumulated "treasures") to storage, and then from storage to our new house, Maffucci Movers were fantastic! The people in the office (Diane Gaines, Judd Levine, Keisha) were so patient, knowledgeable and efficient, right up to the movers who helped us (I remember Franco & Eugene, but also the men who worked with them).....they were on time, careful with our treasures, and pleasant to work with. Our move with Maffucci Movers was in every way totally professional. I will recommend them to anyone I know in the process of moving. They made a difficult transition almost easy!

We live in CT, my daughter was moving to her first apartment (in Manhattan), and as soon as the local movers heard the words “New York City,” they trembled and hung up. Maffucci came up to faraway shoreline CT from Long Island — in monsoon-like blinding rain — on time (!), packed up, and were done unloading before we even got to NYC. They dealt with the paperwork, the parking, and all the headaches of driving in the city. The bill was very close to the estimate. These guys are the top. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Let me start by saying that moving is stressful. I think 99% of people will agree with me. I’ve moved many times in my life and for the 1ST TIME EVER (yes, ever!), my move was seamless and easy. There was a team of 4 movers (“Brian and team”) that came over and were professional, polite, communicative, clean, cool and hardworking.
I cannot recommend Maffucci enough for anyone looking to move. I hope to not have to move again for a long time, but if/when we do, we will 1000% be using Maffucci.

Review Maffucci Moving & Storage
The least I can say is Maffucci/Bekins fulfilled its contractual obligation to deliver my furniture and boxes from NYC to my destination in Minneapolis. The move along with two months storage were handled without incident. Most distressing and source of anger was the loss of my wife’s jewelry, both from a financial and sentimental standpoint. I specifically blame Maffucci and its packers for this happening. The jewelry was last seen when Maffucci’s packers dumped it into a box from my wife’s dresser never advising her of the apparent risk. After I reported the loss not once did anyone from Maffucci contact me. After this poor treatment, I don’t plan on including Maffucci Moving & Storage on my list of movers when there is a next time. Even though I filed an insurance claim I don’t expect much financial compensation. My next step will be filing a report with the legal authorities to bring this matter to light.

I used Bekins of Amityville when I relocated from NY to Va a few weeks ago. And I was extremely pleased with the crew of young men who moved me. They were all very professional and respectful. Patrick who was in charge of the move was very patient and kind and explained everything that they were doing in detail and kept me informed of what was going on throughout the entire process. A 40 mile move is as complicated as a 400 mile move. Every part of the journey was as smooth as glass. Bekins Maffucci WAS INCREDIBLE. The fabulous sales person, Marlon, was exacting on calculating the size of the truck and was a pleasure to work with. He is a moving expert. We used Maffucci Storage for our recent move from Bethpage L.I. to Little River S.C. and I could not be more pleased. From the initial contact with Michael Bondi to our communications with Tamika Lewis and Diane Gaines I was treated with professionalism and courtesy. We were told of our closing only a few days in advance, I contacted Maffucci on Saturday and they were able to move me on Wednesday. The movers who came were very professional and took great care in packing our furniture. I was surprised at the quick turnaround, our furniture was delivered on Monday and once again the movers were professional and unloaded our furniture with care.

Used Maffucci twice! Once for a local move and a second time for a move from the East Coast to West Coast. First point of contact Diane was upfront, honest and thorough explained the process , provided clear understanding of the estimate and what to expect. Because of her I knew I wanted to use them for major move across Country. Diane knew this move would be major and worked closely with me and involved management to provide a clear understanding of what would happen to my shipment from start to finish. I needed reassurance because I had a horrible experience with another company years ago. Maffucci pulled together a team and got their best driver for the job specifically for my shipment . Driving across country East to West in the middle of winter can be treacherous so I had many concerns . The driver John Woughter and partner Paolo were amazing and John reached out to me throughout his trip across country. He gave me an eta and it was precise. He arrived with my belongings along with a beautiful handmade house warming gift. What could have been my worst nightmare (2 lot shipment with multiple end destinations ) went smoothly because of John Woughter and a very well organized and coordinated effort at the time of delivery. Job executed without incident because of my driver John and his LEADERSHIP making sure my belongings were cared for from start to finish!
