Triple Crown Maffucci Bekins has achieved an outstanding claims ratio, which is due to our network of agents trained in export packing and international shipment preparation. However, in the unlikely event of a claim, Bekins provides our customers with insurance programs to mitigate their risk.
In order to provide our customers with options that best fit their moves, Triple Crown Maffucci Bekins is one of the only companies to offer a full line of replacement coverages with and without a deductible. We also include an option for insuring your goods based on the weight of your shipment.
Full Replacement Value Coverage - You can purchase insurance coverage for the full value of your belongings which includes protection for any damage incurred during shipping. However, in order to qualify for this coverage, our movers must professionally pack and unpack the goods at both points. Contents should be insured at their replacement value. This service is available with or without a deductible.
Released Value Coverage Released value means that in opting for no insurance coverage you receive the base coverage provided under maritime law. This provision is currently $0.30 per pound per article.
